Pike County is located in Southwestern Indiana; 42 miles North of Evansville, 23 miles East of Vincennes and 10 miles West of Jasper. Main roadways serving the county are State Highways 57, 61, 56, 64, and I-69.
Coal mining, electric generation and manufacturing are the primary industries.  Farming is an important part of Pike County as well.
